Thiyab merchant agreement · version 2026-08-1
Draft wording pending final legal review. The commercial terms below reflect
how the platform actually operates today.
1. What Thiyab provides
Thiyab provides a marketplace on which your business lists and sells its own
products, together with the storefront, order management, point of sale,
payment processing and delivery integrations described in your plan.
2. Commission
Thiyab deducts a commission of
15.00%
of the ex-VAT value of each item sold. Commission is calculated per order and
shown in full on every settlement, alongside any payment-gateway charge passed
through at cost.
3. Delivery
Delivery fees are charged to the customer. Thiyab retains
0.00%
of the delivery fee and settles the remainder with the courier. Delivery does
not add to or subtract from your net proceeds.
4. Settlement and payouts
Your net proceeds are the ex-VAT product value plus VAT collected, less
commission and gateway charges. Settled balances may be withdrawn once your
bank details are verified. Thiyab may hold a settlement while an order is
disputed or a return is under review.
5. Your obligations
You confirm that your commercial registration is valid, that you own or are
authorised to sell everything you list, and that product information, images
and stock levels are accurate. You are responsible for fulfilling orders within
the delivery window shown on your storefront.
6. Returns
Customers may request a return on a delivered order. You review the request and
make a recommendation; Thiyab makes the final decision and executes any refund.
Refunded orders are adjusted against your settlement.
7. Suspension
Thiyab may suspend a storefront for a breach of these terms, for unresolved
compliance issues, or where a lapsed commercial registration is not renewed.
You will be told the reason.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms carry a version number. Each acceptance is recorded against the
version that was on screen, together with the date and the account that
accepted it, and that record is available to you at any time in your merchant
portal. Where these terms are materially changed, you will be asked to accept
the new version in the portal before continuing to sell on Thiyab.
